Our ultraviolet disinfection systems are found all over the world. They are put to a wide range of uses, from private domestic and complex water supplies to large sewage treatments. Our most important customers are industries and local authorities. We also have our own subsidiaries and representitives, meaning that WEDECO is present in over 80 countries.
Specialists solutions
Our systems have a modular design, which enables us to draw up solutions that are specific to our clients' needs in all areas of ultraviolet disinfection. Wedeco AVP systems are characterised by their high disinfection performance, combined with compact construction and low energy consumption. Depending on the application, special ranges are available that can be easily integrated into existing systems.
We undertake planning and design through installation to system commissioning. WEDECO has the broadest range of drinking water disinfection products which are certified according to German, Austrian and Swiss regulations.
Efficient technology
The core of WEDECO systems are high performance UV lamps. They have long life guarantees, are independent of water temperatures and their particularly high performance makes them far superior to conventional lamps.
Electronic controllers containing smart chips are designed specifically for the lamps and increasing effectiveness. These can vary the supply of energy to the lamps as a function of water quality and flow rates. They ensure that optimal levels of UV rays are emitted in the effective wavelength range (UV-C) and, at the same time they ensure low energy consumption. Consequently, the lamps have a much longer life expectancy than conventional lamps.
In addition, calibrated sensors monitor and document all factors necessary for disinfection. If required, additional functions such as UV dose indicators, lamp series wiring, automatic cleaning and remote monitoring via telementary and the internet, can be
integrated.

The credit for our high technology capabilities must go to our qualified employees in the R&D department. Who constantly strive to further optimise our existing technology.
Additionally, we contribute to researching new areas in which UV disinfection may be used. WEDECO cooperates with external research and information networks and contributes to international standards relating to the future requirements for UV disinfection.
