Traditional physical/ chemical methods of treatment such as flocculation, filtration and chlorination are often insufficient to ensure the quality and safety of drinking water

The treatment of drinking water with ozone represents an environmentally-friendly alternative to other oxidation agents such as chlorine. Since ozone is generated in on-site by fully automatic systems, the amount of ozone produced may be continuously matched to the water flow and demand. This reduces to a minimum the staff requirements for plant control and maintenance.
